Mini review and tutorial: Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette!

My Thoughts

Today is going to be a mini review and tutorial on the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette! My first impression of this palette was that it was absolutely gorgeous. It smells like chocolate so that was definitely a plus in my book! (; The colors are ALL beautiful and the pigmentation of most of them is phenomenal. The shadows for the most part have a super soft and creamy texture. 1.White Chocolate, 2.Marzipan, 3.Cherry Cordial, 4.Crème Brulee, and 5.Salted Carmel are my favorite shadows from this palette, so that is why I featured ALL of them in my look.

There only two shadows in this entire palette that I don't like. 1. Strawberry Bon Bon and 2. Candied Violet. Strawberry Bon Bon looks beautiful in the pan, but when I swatch it its extremely crumbly, has a ton of fall out, and it has barely any pigmentation. Candied Violet also has those same problems. A ton of fall out and just not as pretty swatched as in the pan.

My Look

I started out with 1. White Chocolate to highlight the brow bone and also swept it all over the lid. Next, I took 2. Marzipan and put it in the inner corner and also all over the lid. I took 3. Cherry Cordial and placed it in the outer corner, blended it into the crease, and onto the lid. 4. Crème Brulee is also in the inner corner, and blended out on top of 3. Cherry Cordial on the lid. To blend out the crease, and everything together I used 5. Salted Carmel. I also took 3. Cherry Cordial and 4. Crème Brulee and blended them on the lower lash line.

Conclusion

I love this palette! Out of 16 shadows in the palette, only two of them were misses for me! I would recommend this palette to everyone. It smells great, amazing pigmentation, and the shadows blend like a dream. Good job with this one Too Faced!
